If you want to take a picture of your life, take a one-day bus tour from Biei to Furano!

Hello, this is Hokkaido Magazine.
If you travel to Hokkaido in winter, it is a snow and snow scene.
Of course, you can see a lot of snow in Sapporo.
It is located along the famous snowy mountain in Hokkaido.
Why don't you go on a Biei-Furano day bus tour?

One-day bus tours are offered by various companies to people from different countries
This time, I used the My Japan bus tour.

At 7:40 a.m., we gathered near the TV Tower in Odori Park.
Whitebeard Falls, Can and Mary's Tree, Christmas Tree, Thaksin Hall (Photo Gallery), Ningur Terrace, etc.
It is a course that goes around the best spots and sightseeing spots for taking pictures.

Can and Mary's Tree
It is a tree that appeared in a Nissan car advertisement in the 80s and became famous.
It is said that it was named after the names of foreign advertising models at the time, Can and Mary.
It looks like one tree, but if you look closely, it's two trees.
There is a story that if a couple takes a picture on this tree, they will not be separated.
The scenery of the snowy mountains behind the trees is beautiful!

Christmas tree
It is called spruce, which is used to make Christmas trees.
There's only one tree standing tall in the field.
There were a lot of people taking pictures of the tree on the palm of their hand or on their head.

Thaksin Hall – Photo Gallery
Biei-Furano photographer Shinzo Maeda
He is now deceased, but his son took over the family business.
It seems that you are a photographer and run a gallery.
A photo gallery out of nowhere? I thought
I liked the gallery and the birch forest next to the gallery.
It was a surprisingly satisfying course.
They were selling photo postcards, photo books, and all sorts of pretty goods.

The meal for the winter course was at the Park Hills Hotel restaurant located next to Whitebeard Falls.
The food was just as good, but the facilities were clean and the interior was really pretty.
From 3/11, it will be changed to a spring course, and it will be a self-guided meal at Biei Station.

After eating, we visited Whitebeard Falls, which is located right next to the Park Hills Hotel.
I've been here in the summer, but this was my first time in the winter.
I think Whitebeard Falls is even cooler in winter.

Furano Cheese Factory
You can sample a variety of cheeses, and they also sell non-cheese dairy products such as butter.
You can also observe the cheese-making process and get hands-on experience.
And as a perk, My Japan gave away Furano Milk and Shiroi Koibito sweets.
I'm not a big fan of milk, but Furano milk was the best I've ever had.

Ningur Terrace
The last course is Ningur Terrace. It was about 4 p.m.
The illumination time is 4 p.m.
It was a bit of a shame that the days were getting longer in February and it was too bright.
In Hokkaido, the sun goes down really early, and it gets dark at 4 o'clock in January.
If you did the bus tour in January,
I think you felt the following atmosphere.

After Ningur Terrace, head back to Sapporo.
If the weather is good, it will take about 2~2 and a half hours.
The weather was good for me, so I went down to Odori Park.
The clock tower was pointing to 7:10.

This was my first time on the Biei-Furano bus tour.
I really felt that it was a tour that specialized in photography.
The snowy scenery in winter is also a big hit
The green and colorful Biei in spring and summer is also beautiful with another charm.
If you're coming to Hokkaido, take a Biei-Furano bus tour.
How about taking a shot of your life?
